Return & Refunds

At AlBakiReads, we want you to feel confident when ordering with us. If something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help. We accept qualifying returns within 30 days of delivery, including buyer’s remorse returns for new and unused books.

Qualifying returns receive a free, pre-paid return label. For buyer’s remorse returns, a fixed $2 restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.

How to Start a Return

To begin a return, please email us at shop@albakireads.com with your order number and the reason for your return. Our team will review your request and send you a pre-paid return label if the return is eligible.

Return Window

  • Returns must be requested within 30 days of the order’s delivery date.
  • Buyer’s remorse returns are accepted for new, unused books in original, resellable condition.
  • Damaged, defective, incomplete, or incorrect items are also eligible for return support within 30 days of delivery.

Return Conditions

To help us process your return smoothly, please ensure:

  • Items are returned in new, unused, original condition.
  • Books must have no signs of use, writing, highlighting, damage, or missing parts.
  • You contact us before sending the item back.
  • You use the pre-paid return label we provide so the return can be tracked and processed correctly.
  • You include all relevant packaging if applicable.

Return Cost

  • AlBakiReads provides a free, pre-paid return label for qualifying returns.
  • Buyer’s remorse returns are subject to a fixed $2 restocking fee, deducted from the refund.
  • No restocking fee applies if the item arrived damaged, defective, incomplete, or incorrect due to an AlBakiReads or fulfillment error.

Refund Timeline

  • Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll issue an approved refund within 48 hours.
  • Refunds typically take 2–5 business days to appear, depending on your bank or payment provider.

What Will Be Refunded

You’ll receive a refund for the original item price, including any applicable taxes, minus the fixed $2 restocking fee for buyer’s remorse returns.

Original shipping charges will only be refunded if the return is due to an AlBakiReads or fulfillment error, such as a damaged, defective, incomplete, or incorrect item.

Items Not Eligible for Return

  • Return requests submitted after the 30-day return period
  • Items that are used, altered, damaged after delivery, written in, highlighted, or not in resellable condition
  • Items returned without contacting us first
  • Items returned without using the pre-paid return label provided by AlBakiReads
